My friend Greg Sykes sent me this quote from Tim Keller in response to some of the comments on “Why I Believe the Bible“:
“The only way to doubt Christianity rightly and fairly is to discern the alternate belief under each of your doubts and then to ask yourself what reason you have for believing it. It would be inconsistent to require more justification for Christian belief than you do your own.”
Amen.
What I note is this: on the assumption that the Bible is not necessarily true, the Bible is not necessarily true.
But what warrants the assumption?
Can you tell me why Tim Keller is so popular when he is with a group like Bio Logos that is anti scripture?
