On Sunday, July 17, 2011, Denny Burk preached a powerful, timely sermon at Kenwood Baptist Church: “How Do We Speak about Homosexuality?”
If you haven’t heard it, you need to give it a listen. Denny had three points:
Speak the truth.
Speak the gospel.
Speak humility.
In the introduction Denny tells the tragic story of a homosexual boy who committed suicide, and then he takes on the false choice the culture gives us to be either those who condone homosexual behavior or bigots. We have to speak the truth in love, to speak the gospel, and to speak humbly.
Download this sermon, listen closely, and pray the Lord to make his name great, to spread wide his mercy, and to make us strong for the persecution we’re likely facing on this issue.

Hi Denny!!
Blasting the bejeebers out of your BHS Homecoming past!! I hope this is my old homecoming escort because I would be thrilled to know you are preaching the Truth.
I have been fighting multiple sclerosis for 25 years and am fading quickly as of late. Just trying to focus on my blessed life to keep the pain at bay.
Dropa line and let me know how you are and how the Lord led you to this place. (My story is really good. been a faithful believer forever through many, many trials and storms)
Let me know.
Carol
