Justin learned preaching at DTS, and there we were taught to do five things in the introduction to a sermon:
- Grab Attention
- Raise a real need to hear what you’re going to say
- State your main point
- Preview the sections of your presentation
- Give the context of the passage you’re preaching
Keruxson ton logon! That is, “Preach the word!” (2 Tim 4:2).
