I found the name of the file of the Robert Gagnon article that you linked in your review to be funny. Did anyone else laugh out loud when they read it?
You said you thought Milgrom went beyond the text his views on the high handed sin being reduced to an unintentional sin through confession and repentance. Do you think this isn’t true? Interestingly I recently found the same view put forth in John Hartley’s Leviticus commentary and in William Dumbrell’s OT theological Survey. Have you read Milgrom’s treatment on the subject in his book Cult and Conscience or his larger Anchor commentary?
So did you not like Milrom’s commentary?
Blessings,
Bryan
