One of the biggest changes in outlook over the course of the last century is the complete removal of all culpability, guilt and personal blame. This has been accomplished largely through the influence of secular psychology. Amazingly though this has infiltrated the church to the point where some see sinners as “sick” and in need of help, but not guilty or personally culpable. This is why we see so little true repentance-no one really feels guilty for anything anymore.
